MN1 or/ ILR For My UK Born Daughter

Dear friends,
I am applying for my ILR in August 2012. My wife is currently on dependant visa and she will be applying for ILR with me at the same time. I also have a 1 year old daughter who was born in the UK. Quite often I have read on this forum that we can directly apply for naturalisation for UK born dependants on MN1 form once we get the ILR. However, the situation might be different in my daughter's case and that is why I am asking a question here. Since we needed to travel to my birth country last year, I had to get a passport for my daughter from our country's embassy and applied for my daughter's dependant visa. I got everything in the end and my daughter has now got the same passport that I have got and a dependant visa is stamped on her passport. My question is 'can I wait to get ILR and then apply for my daughter's naturalisation or like my wife, I should include her in my application for ILR???
It's a tricky question and I can't get my head around so would greatly appreciate your advice on this.
Many thanks,

Thanks sushdmehta.

I found this link quite useful and informative even for those questions that are not relevant to me.

Thanks again.

Thanks sushdmehta.

Although Q31 & Q32 in your link are quite clear but I am going a bit further to ask one more time because I am getting mixed messages from different people.

Am I correct in assuming that a UK born baby does not need to apply for ILR with their parents but can directly apply for registering as British national once parents are given ILR irrespective of whether the baby has travelled out of the UK since his/her birth?

I would really appreciate your response and would also be grateful to anyone for their comments who have come across similar situation.

Thanks,

This is correct. Please note that the application for registration needs to be made in the country the child is present.
