Hi All,

I become eligible to apply for ILR this December as I will complete 4 years and 11 months with my WP.

However, my WP was issued to be based at one of the offices in Manchester and I have relocated earlier this year to one of the sites in London (same company though) -This has not yet been notified to UKBA.

So my obvious question is, is it mandatory to make this change on my work permit prior to my ILR application & if so, how can this be done please?

Informing the UKBA about minor changes to an employees WP employment are done via a Technical Change submitted by the Employer.

When my work address changed my employer submitted a Technical change to notify the UKBA, but I (WP Holder/Employee) didn't initiate this.

This is generally done at the time the change occurs. When did you relocate? Is it possible that your employer has already submitted a TC to UKBA?
