I'm eligible now for 10yrs ILR and will be eligible for 5yrs(Tier2) ILR in another 3 months.

My wife and my kid have recently joined me as Tier2 dependents (1 month).

Which one should I choose? 10 yrs ILR or should I wait and go for 5yrs ILR?
(apart from the waiting times and unable to use premium service)

How will it affect my dependents according to the new law?

1. Your choice.
2. It won't, as your dependants will not be subject to the new rules.
