Hello everyone,

My wife is a british citizen, and i am here in the Uk on a spouse settlement visa, My Application for an indeinte leave to remain is due in august, Please i'd like to find out if i can submit my application for indefinite leave to remain through the premium service without my wife been present, but with a letter from her supporting my application and her British passport. I really want to know if this will have any negative impact on my application. She will be travelling on an official assignment by the end of july for 3 months, she has agreed to travel on her south african passport so that i can present her passport at the Premium service. Thank you very much all, your adice will be very much appreciated.

There is no requirement for your wife to be present with you on appointment.

What types of application can you make? wrote:If you are applying on form SET(M) (to extend your stay or settle in the UK as the spouse or partner of a person who is settled here), both you and your partner must attend your appointment. If your partner cannot come with you, you must bring a letter they have written to say they support your application. They must sign and date the letter and give us a daytime phone number so we can contact them, if necessary.

Make sure you provide her contact number on the supportive letter including the one she will be using wherever she travel to incase they need to make enquiry from her.
Note for premium application to be decided same day your case most be straight forward especially when your British spouse will not be present.
