Hi,
I do have Tier 1 visa (holding extension) and going to apply for ILR in next Feb 2013. I do have below queries and I much appreciate if anybody answer them.
1) My husband is with me in UK and he is on Tier 1 dependent , but he doesn’t complete 2 years at Feb 2013 – 3 months less than 2 years – What we have to do ? Should I apply Set(o) and my husband has to apply for FLR(M)?
2) Can we get the same day appointment for both of us?
3) If he will apply for FLR(M) in Feb 2013 – does he has to complete 5 years or 2 years for his ILR?
4) 2 years is the combination of PBS and FLR(M)?
Thanks in advance,
Rubina

Hi
1. Your husband has to apply for FLR(M).
2. After 9th of July 2012 your husband has to complete 5 years as a combination of FLR(M) and PBS dependant.
3. Yes you can have a same day appointment for your self and for your husband.
Hope this will answer your question.
Good luck.

I've called the home office and they told me that my husband need to apply for FLR(M) and when he complete his 2 years which is the combination of tier 1 dependent and FLR(M), he can apply for his ILR.
The new rule ONLY apply for new applications from outside UK as my husband currently holding PBS dependent visa....NO need to wait for 5 years............
Cheeers.........

what about the appointment ? can he apply FLR at the same time as u ??
also what about the life in the UK test ? does he need to take it or his degree certificate from his country would be enuf ( qualifying the NARIC list)
