Hi All,
I have read that if applying by post they do not want to hear from you until 30 days before the 2 year anniversary of your arrival. Does the same apply if you book an appointment at a PEO or do you need to book after the 2 years?
I have also read booking an appointment should be done not before 42 days before you need to go and it is a nightmare. Does this apply for all offices? I will be going to Cardiff hopefully,

The same rule applies for PEO appointments, but to be precise, it's no earlier than 28 days before the 2nd anniversary of your arrival in the UK.
The reason 42 days is mentioned for booking a PEO appointment is due to the fact that slots are only released onto the computer system 42 days in advance. They won't show up before then and this applies to all PEO locations.

You're welcome. One tip...the slots are released onto the system every day at midnight. Good time to try for an appointment.

I need to make appointment for my ILR for date after 17 September because my visa run out on 15 October. Counting 28 days back from 15 October is 17 September is my calculation is right. Looking at what people have written on this thread and also personal experience when I logged in to bia website, it seems it will be tough to find appointment.

Does anyone know if home office is not releasing dates anymore?

The reason for my questions is that few weeks back I used to log in for fun and used to find a lot of slots available and just smile and think I would have choosing a slot now if not that my app is not due yet. That was few weeks ago, now everytime I log in there is no slot at all in any of the centres. I even follow the instruction on this thread by logging on midnight at 12, I started at 11:50pm and stayed awake till about 1am still I was not able to see any slot. If things continue like this by the time am ready to book appointment in early August it might be that I will not be able to find a slot.

Does anyone have idea what is really happening?

i am wanting to book a slot for 10 Oct so to book 42 days in advance, i should be looking at finding one on 1st September aroundish.

You will have to keep refreshing again and again for it to work. I did see some slots the other day but then i was getting a technical error endlessly.

@ innocentdevil. how recently did you see a slot on the website? and what time of did day was that? what is your preference for PEO we have something in common as both our booking is not due until few weeks to this time. I thought we can keep hope alive by posting on this thread whenever we spot any slot when we log in.

i check every night. it was same technical error last night and then I was unable to even log on to the website. after an hour, there were no slots available.

I am wanting to book any time after 7th October 2012 in either sheffield or birmingham. sheffield's my local and solihull is only an hours drive for me.
