Hi All,

I have booked the appointment at Croydon for 28th Aug 2012 for Me (Main applicant), Wife and my 4 yr old son. I have all my documents in place and hopefully my application should sail through smoothly :). I have a question and need some help & advice, My wife and my son have to travel to India on the 31/08/2012 (2 days after ILR) but i understand that we will not get the BRP card in 2 days and it can take anything upto 10/15 days or even more.
Our current BRP card has the valid till date of 24/09/2012.

My question is,
Can my wife and son travel on this card and the ILR approval letter (If it is approved) as the current BRP card will be valid when they travel or do they have to wait till the new card arrives?

Many Thanks

Wasim

I think you have to return your existing cards when you attend for your ILR appointment. since you don't need to show BRP in airport there shouldn't be any problems while traveling to india. if you receive BRP cards i meantime you can post them to your family in india.

safe bet is to wait until you all receive your BRP cards.

Cheers
