Urgent query on Employer letter (Tier-2 ICT)

Hi,
I've been a silent reader of this forum and have found it extremely informative.
I work for a large company on Tier-2 ICT and am eligible for IRL in a few months. As most large companies my company has gone "green" and does everything online and I get my payslips, P60 and even employee reference letters online ONLY. (I dont see the point as I have to print them out but anyways...). The online reference letter is digitally signed and I have used it's printout of them in the past for Schengen visas, Bank etc without any issues. The company says this is sufficient as a proof.
My query is can I these printouts for ILR as a employer reference (As I am Tier2 this is mandatory). Has anyone else used them? Any info on this will be very useful.
