In Overdraft for last 1 year

Hi All,
I have my ILR app on the 28th aug and i am a lil bit concerned about my bank statement. The last year has been very rough and i am in overdraft all last year and even now my account is in OD.Will this be an issue?
Also, as i am going to the Croydon PEO with my 4 yr old son, will they allow me to carry a book, a toy and something to munch just in case he gets hungry????
