HI all

I am on 5 year work permit which is due for ILR end of November 2012. In 2008 I have been selected to go to Middle East on a long term assignment. I stayed and worked in the Middle East 930 days from November 2008 to June 2011 and includes paid holiday as well. During that period I have been paid in UK, and I managed to entre into UK within in 90days. However I stayed more than 90days twice as no body to cover my absences.

I explain same thing to my Employer's Immigration consultant, they asked me to extend visa for 5 year then apply ILR.

930 days means 3 years, you have been out of country for 3 years. i think you broke continuous residence. you may want to extend your stay and apply ILR when you meet the criteria.
