Success at Crydon PEO 08/08/12

shearing my experince here because this forum has been of immense help to me in preparinng for my ILR application.
5 yrs (2 yrs WP + 3 yrs tie one general) with same employer.
Appointment was for 12:30 but was let through around 11:44.
12:10 finished payment at floor one waiting to be called to register.
12:30 called to register. 12:59 Bio info taken foolwed by the long wait, Called by a case worker at 2:45. the lady asked me for all my document, she flipped through them in front of me and said it will take about an hour.
At about 4:10, she came back and gave me all my documents and letter of approval, told to wait for card in few days time.

Document supplied by me: I was only ask to hand over all i wanted to give and no questions were aksed.
5 x P60
12 months ststement.
12 months payslip
letter from employer
Life in uk test pass certificate.

52 days in my last 5 years. About 120 in 10 yrs

does UKBA use Royal mail? Do they send my 1st Class? Registered post?

UKBA deliver BRP's through DXSecure and other documents via Royal Mail recorded delivery (unless you have supplied a Special Delivery envelope).

So you need to supply 12 months of payslips and bank statements, but there is no minimum amount to have earned or to have in your bank account?

I had to prove that I earned enough to get at least 75 points from tie one general calculator.
About the delivery, It was a man in a plain cloth driving a silver vauxhall astra estate who delivered it to me. He did ask me to show a form of id. He just looked at my driving license and said its ok.

Why did you need to get 75 points from a tier 1 calculator when you're applying for ILR?

If your last leave to remain was tie one general, you still need to show that you qualify for tie one at the point of applying for ILR.

Do you need to prove maintenance (funds) when applying for ILR? Or is it just your education, age and salary?

YES MENTAINANCE REQUIRED. 3 MONTHS DURATION.

I can only see that you need to score 75 points on table 2 here: with the criteria of qualification, earnings, UK experience and age.

I thought it was needed. I was made to think that because of this page from the points calculator of ukba. not sure if this statement does not apply for ILR. I did leave money in my account for a long period before application. The gentleman/lady who said its not needed might be right.
