Am I eligible for ILR?

Hello Everyone, I want to find out if it is possible to apply for ILR in my current immigration state. This is my history.

I came to the UK in September 2003 on a 1 yr student Visa.
In October 2004, I renewed it and got a 3yr residence permit.
In October 2007, after graduation I applied for the Science and Engineering Graduate Scheme (SEGS) which was for 1 yr.
October 2008, HomeOffice dicontinued SEGS changed to Tier 1 PSW and was for 2yrs. So I got another year visa as Tier 1 PSW.
October 2009, I applied for Tier 1 General and got 3yrs.
This is due to expire in October 2012 (2 months away).

I know that by September 2013, I would be eligible for ILR based on my total stay in the country of 10yrs.

But I want to avoid renewing my visa in October 2012 and then paying for another application in September 2013. Also I know a lady who came to the UK a year after me as a student and has had her ILR for a year now.

I would be applying along with my wife.

Based on this information, is it at all possible to apply for ILR in October 2012?

Thanks

Based on this information, is it at all possible to apply for ILR in October 2012? You would not have qualified (5/10 yrs), so it would be invalid, and rejected

Thanks

Based on the information provided, you are not yet eligible to apply for ILR under either the 10 year long residence route or the 5 year economic migrant route.

1) You will become eligible to apply under the long residence route in September 2013. Note that any dependents will need to apply after you have been granted ILR if applying under this category.
2) You will become eligible to apply under the economic migrant route in October 2014.
