ILR query - continuously 5 years break

My Tier 1 extension is due in December 2012. However is it possible to apply for ILR instead of extension?

1. I am falling short of 31 days from completion of 5 years.
2. I was out of country for 73 days continuously and was unpaid holidays.
3. I was out of country for 232 days (which is more than 6 months) in total which included my business travel for more than 70 days.

Will I be eligible to apply for ILR this time or I have to file Tier 1 extension?
Any help in this regard is much appreciated.

Thanks, HR

Are you asking if you need to extend because of the shortfall or the absences, or both? The former would need more elaboration from you on the dates of grant, entry, extension and expiry; the latter is not something that can be easily called and depends on the reasons you give, the nature, and the amount. I think it's unlikely but I'm guessing.
