Gap in Employment- ILR repurcussions

One of my very good friends has a prospective question on ILR.
She is currently on Tier 2 visa (will complete 3 years in Sep 2012). Unfortunately her employment ends with this visa and she is in the process of looking out for a new position.
She has a couple of interviews lined up and hopes that she will crack and get a job hopefully anytime soon.
Our question is:
Will she be okay in terms of eligibility if there is a gap of 2-3 payslips in her 5 years employment?
Is it okay as long as she shows employment in the last 2 years of her economic activity in the 5th year of her applying for ILR which will be mostly in 2014-15.
I know that there are many ifs and buts in this case, but we are trying to look into all kinds of scenarios to ensure that her ILR is not affected.
