Hi guys

My wife has her independent tier1 visa and she would finish 5 years of residence in the UK by Jan 2013..

She came to the UK in Jan 2008 on WP and after 5 months she switched her status to Tier1(expires may 2013).

So she will be completing 4 yrs 7 months in Tier1G by Jan 2013. Does she meet the 5 yr residence requirement for ILR??

Any help will be appreciated.

are you sure about the dates? The PBS only started in November 2008.

Yes I'm sure the dates are correct.

Just to give a bit more info, she had applied for hsmp from India in 2007 by post but before she received her approval she had come to UK on WP. She applied for tier1 in the transitional arrangement during that time since she had a valid hsmp approval letter..
