ILR via partner Visa

Dear All,
My girlfriend/unmarried partner and I have been living together in the UK for 5 years. 2 years ago, while I was on an ancestral visa, she was able to join me on my visa as an unmarried partner. I have since become a british citizen, which means that during those 2 years my status changed from ancestral visa, to ILR, to British citizen. During this time we made no changes to my partners visa. My question is, after 2 years on a partner visa, is she elligible for ILR? Would me becoming a british citizen during that period affect anything?
Any help would be appreciated. I do not want to make the application and waste several hundred pounds.
Thanks
