Work Permit and Tier 1 combination for ILR

Hi All,
i am just confused to apply for ILR.
i initially came to this country on student visa and then got SEGS 1 yr work permit. Got the job and then the company i was working gave me a work permit in
Work Permit Started 5th March 2008
then i had to change my job so changed the visa and got Tier 1 on :
8th April 2010 for 3 yrs
so i was on work permit for 2 yrs 1 month
Tier 1 will 3 yrs on 7th april 2013
i want to confirm if the mixture of work permit and Tier 1 will work fine for ILR? also are there any special requirement of documents i need to prepare?
