Hi,

Could some one please help me with the following query?

I am Work permit Holder for 5 years and will be applying the ILR Jan 16th 2013. I have spent 120 days (less than 180 days) of annual leave outside UK which is paid leave.

Do I still require a letter from employer? (according to dec 13 rules)

Yes. [EDIT: Not entirely sure, as there has been a successful ILR application as a WP Holder, where no employer letter was provided for absences. See http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewto ... ht=#750969]

If you can get hold of one, get it. Not sure what the rules are.

Hi

My Visa status is (2.5yrs WP + 2.5yrs Tier 1 General).

During this period I traveled overseas to see my family.

Total days 140 (annual paid leave)

Do i still need a letter from my employer.

Please advice

Thanks

Contrary to my previous response, it appears that the following applicant was granted ILR as a Work Permit Holder today, without a employer letter confirming absences. http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewto ... ht=#750969
