Hello Members,

Wp granted Feb 2008 for 5 years. Applying for ILR in Jan 2013.

What is the rule to prove I was economically active for 5 years and what docs I need to show as I did a gap for 4 months in 2010 but still with the same employer on same work permit and I was in the UK itself and didnt get paid.

Should all P60'S and last 3 months payslips/bank statement showing salary be enough? And I was also economically active for last 12 months.

Pls share al experiences, will be highly appreciated

You didn't get paid for four months. Important facts needed - when and why?

when - Dec 2010 - April 2011

Why - Complicated:- Was promoted within the company in Aug2010 from scotland to London. Did not like the place. Wanted to move back to scotland in Dec 2010, no positions available. Had already booked holidays to go to india in Dec 2010 to go india for 4 weeks and was told company to come back n we will sort it out. Came back from india in Jan 2011, applied and finally got the position in April 2011. Notified HO, they agreed that i dont need to apply for new wp as old one is absolutely fine(asked to fill in notification of technical change form) and it was temporary absence. So the WP was not curtailed. Since April 2011 working fine and economically active as usual.

Any thoughts?
