Hi All

I just want to know when I can apply for british citizenship. I got ILR on 3rd July 2012 but I have applied for ILR by post on 24th february 2012. so my 12 months starts counting from when I got ILR or when I posted the documents for ILR.

You have ILR from the issue date, not application date.

So my time started counting from 3rd July 2012 when i was Issued ILR.

and please let me know do I have to wait of 3rd July 2012 or I can apply 28 days before that.

No 28 day policy for citizenship. You have to complete your full year.
