I was reading guidance notes and am now confused about the 5 year continuous period. Can someone please help me to determine my 5 year continuous period.
Here are my details
HSMP 05/03/2008 - 04/03/2010
Tier 1 General 25/01/2010 - 04/03/2013
I was already in the UK before 05/03/2008.

I have booked a PEO appointment for 05 Feb 2013.

The questions are:
1. Have i spent 5 years in the UK?
2. Do i qualify for ILR on 05Feb2013, Can i apply on 05Feb2013?

I am getting confused because 2008 was a leap year and when i calculate the continuous period from application date (05Feb2013) it becomes short by 2 days.
Year 1 05 Feb 2013 - 04 Feb 2012
Year 2 05 Feb 2012 - 04 Feb 2011
Year 3 05 Feb 2011 - 04 Feb 2010
Year 4 05 Feb 2010 - 04 Feb 2009
Year 5 05 Feb 2009 - 04 Feb 2008
So basically the 5 year period starts from 04 feb 2008 and my HSMP started 05 march 2008. These are 30 days apart.
Is this OK or should i reschedule?

If your application date (PEO or Postal) is during the last 28 days of your 5th qualifying year, you are fine.
