how to contact UKBA for SET(O) applicaiton progress?

hi anyone can be kindly to provide the UKBA contat number and email address for ILR application progress, I have been wating almost 6 months till 18 Jan, 2013 ( posted by 18. July 2012), my work, my morgage, my travel plan , everything need my passpoet back, really can't wait any more...

I believe you can ask for your passport to be returned to you for identification purpose without withdrawing your application. However if you travel outside, your application will be considered to have been withdrawn.

Thanks for quick response from both of you! I have clicked link and read carefully, my travle for outside UK is not very urgent, so I still can hold for some days, I don;t want to take risk for any possible application withdrawal. actually I have tried to contact our local MP, hopefully I can get his response and help to push my case will be speeded up by home office, anyway till 18 Jan 2013 it will be be full 6 months for waiting! and wish my approval letter is on its way back now...finger crossed !
