Switch from Tier2 ( Intra Company Transfer ) to Tier 2 G

Hi,
Presently I am on Tier2 ( Intra Company Transfer) which was issued after April 2010. Details are as follows:
1) Original COS : 13th May 2010 ( Established Long Term Staff)
Arrival Date : June 13th 2010.
Extension : May 2012 ( Long Term staff) visa valid till May 2013.
Can you please let me know the following:
a) Whether I can switch my visa from ICT2 to Tier 2 General.
b) Whether my period on ICT2 ( From June 2010 to till date) will count for ILR,
