Which is the earliest date I can book (6+4 weeks) my ILR ?

Which day is the earliest date I can book my online ILR appointment(premium service)? I have heard it's about 6 weeks + 28 day/a month ?

Is it 42+28 or 42 + 31 ??

Basically my current Visa expires 9th April this year. So this makes my earliest appointment is 28 or 31 days earlier ?

If it's 28 days before my visa expires, then it's
March 12, 2013 , is the earliest date I can have a ILR appointment premium service.

And if it's 42 days before that the earliest date I can have a ILR appointment , then it's
January 29, 2013

Please advice if below is correct ,assuming the 42 & 28 day is correct:
The the earliest date that I can book a ILR online appointment is January 29, 2013 and the appointment should be for March 12, 2013.

If not what's the correct calculation ?
Any input is appreciated .

Many Thanks

You mixed up two different issue. First is application applying date and second is booking peo appointment. You can apply maximum 28 days earlier of your visa expire date. Your current Visa expires 9th April. so you can submit your application on any day from 12th march (9th april-28days) to 9th April 2013.
http://www.timeanddate.com/date/dateadd ... &ad=28&aw=

PEO appointment slots become free /available 42days earlier. Lets say today is 23rd January and If you look now you will find slots are available on for 6th March. To book any appointment between your application dates which are between 12th March to 9th April 2013 you should look for PEO appointment booking from 29th January (12th March -42 days).
Hope this will help

You need to state what your current immigration status is (i.e. category), when your EC was granted & when you first entered the UK to determine when you will be eligible to apply. Purely stating your current LTR expiry date is not sufficient.

Hi cs95tdg,
Thanks for the heads up! Could you please help me with my case below?

I obtained my Tier1 when I am in UK when holding PSW working, so I am not sure when I entered UK matters in my case of 5 years counting ?

I think I do understanding the holding PSW period even I was working CANNOT be counted as the 5 year period.

So I am purely based on Tier1(3+2), this may makes my case a little clearly.

But here are some facts first
------------------------------------------
Initial Tier1(3 years):
Date of Issue: 14 APR/AVR 08
Valid until : 10 APR/AVR 11
------------------------------------------
Tier1 Extention(2 years):
Date of Issue: 08/03/11
Valid until : 10/04/13
------------------------------------------

Just had a look at my visa and it seems my overall period is short of 5 years !

If I am not mistaken my 5 year period for ILR will become valid
@ "14 APR/AVR 08" + 5 years = 14/04/2013
Or should it be 15/04/2013 instead??

But I think the 28 rule saved my mule right ?

Can you please let me know when is the earliest date that I can apply my ILR ?

And what's the earliest date that I can book my ILR premium service online?

Many Thanks
Gob00st

The earliest you would be eligible to apply is 28 days before the 5th anniversary from 14 April 2008 (so long as you meet all other ILR requirements including the absence threshold). I.e. http://www.timeanddate.com/date/dateadd ... &ad=28&aw= . As this date is a Sunday, the Monday after (18 March 2013) would be the earliest date you should book your PEO appointment for (application date).

As PEO appointment slots are only released 42 days in advance, you will only be able to search and book an appointment for the above date on http://www.timeanddate.com/date/dateadd ... &ad=42&aw=

For slots on 18th March you should look from 4th February.

arifahmmed, yes that's right but it's not easy to book it via the website as it's not always available. That's why I have been asking is there any tip on when to book it on , midnight ?

Many Thanks
