New edition of Life inthe UK test

Hi,

UKBA has introduced a new life inthe uk test (3rd Edition). All tests on or after 25th march will be from 3rd edition.

I will apply for my ILR in July 2013. If I take life inthe uk test before 25th march (I mean from 2nd edition), would this be acceptable later for my ILR and naturalisation applications. Or do they demand latest tests always.

Thanks

To make it clear...uksettlement means, yes they will accept the 'old' test results.

Hi Sorry just to clarify.

What do you mean of UK settlements. Does this term include both ILR and Naturalisation or just ILR.

Thanks

Once you clear LIUK test, it never expires...

So better to give now than after, I would say

I think it's safer to take the test now if you can for the 2nd edition. As with new changes, there will be new questions/materials which creates a bit of uncertainty.

Thanks for all replies.

I'm just confuse If I would be able to use life inthe uk test for naturalisation later on which is in August 2013.

Any idea?

My understanding is that LIT UK Test pass results are valid, indefinitely.

Annoyed as I just bought the 2nd edition 2 weeks ago. It seems things outdate fast. My English Test A1 ESOL already outdated and have to do another English Test again. Grrrrrrrrrr.
