Hi, I first came to UK on WP in Nov 2007. My visa was valid until Sep 2009.

I went to India on a short assignment for 4 months in Feb 2009. I was asked by my company to apply for T2 ICT while I was in India before returning to UK. I got my T2 ICT in May 2009 and returned to UK in May 2009.

My original visa was valid until Sep 2009 but since I applied for a fresh T2 ICT from India do you think my continuous stay was broken?

You could make a Subject Access Request(SAR) from Home Office. You should receive the information with in 40 days. It could take longer than the specified time line.

No because:
1. you went out of uk less than 6 months.
2. you left uk with valid leave.
