ILR in July with 5 years permanent salary and last 6 month c

My ILR is due in end of July with my Mrs. I have always been a permanent employee but recently moved to contract job as a limited company.

Now I know for ILR i have to show minimum £20,000 salary 12 months out of last 15 months. Or it could be 6 month or 8 month salary out of last 15 months as long as its over £20,000.

Now my question is i have my payslips from permanent job for 8 to 9 months which will easily cover 25k. Can i go for ILR without even mentioning that i am on contract. Because i am not claiming any points from limited company as my permanent job easily cover it.

As i dont think so for ILR there is any requirement that if i am currently working or not?.

or do i need to show just a letter that i am working currently as well.

Thanks in advance,

Salman

First Tier 1 visa 31/08/2008 salary required 21k
Second extension 31/10/2010 salary required 21k ( though claimed 49k)

I am on Tier 1 general i got my first Tier-1 General on 31 August 2008. Where i had to show salary minimum 20 or 21k. Then i extened my visa in 2011 for two years again i showed the same salary range but actually i claimed at that time 49k
though i require the same old salary because when i applied first time in 2008 my age was 26.

So i believe again for ILR i have to show the same salary. Which i can easliy do from my permanent job form last 15 months and dont have to worry if i am working as contractor form past 6 months before applying in July

OP, what you need is to score the necessary points to qualify for ILR as a T1G Migrant. The breakdown of those points is not significant. I.e. it's the total score from Age, Qualification, Previous Earnings, UK Experience etc... that matters.

You will always score the same number of points for age as when you first applied. The rest can vary in each subsequent T1G extension and also ILR application. Generally speaking you will score the same number of points for your qualification, unless you obtained a further qualification & decide to use that in place of the one you used during your initial application. Note that when applying for ILR as a T1G Migrant, there is no requirement for you to be employed at the time of the application.

You can use earnings made during a consecutive 12 month period within the 15 months immediately prior to your application. You can use self-employed & or employed earnings to score points. Additionally there is no requirement for you to claim earnings for all 12 months or from all income sources (E.g. you may omit your self-employed earnings if you qualify with just your employed income) if you qualify with less.

Thanks for the reply.

So last but not least

is there any requirement for ILR to show that you are currently working or not?

No there is no requirement for the applicant to be in employment as long as he satisfies the ponts requirements.
