Manually counting it comes to 10th April. Does that one day make a huge difference?

As per my knowledge you cannot apply before 28 days the expiry of the leave. It counts up to 10th April. If there seems to be confusion, where you have waited for 5 years I don't see that why one day is making such a big difference, though I understand your position of applying at the earliest opportunity

Gagan has advised you that one day does not matter. He knows well about these rules. But you are behaving silly and stupid. Go ahead and book on 10th April.

I am not trying to be rude. When you are advised by some body(who knows better than you) ,take that advise. If not you do what you think is best. Go and book on the 9th April.
