Hopefully there will be more clarity on it once this goes live.

It is not clear what happens to the already booked appointments after 6th April.
One of my friend got a slot on 11thApril.
Can any one advice what might happen to that appointment?

My feeling is that he will have to pay an increased fee. But regarding the exact method I don't think there is any clarity yet.

Don't think existing booking will get affected. Bookings made on and after 6th April will have an increase in price

I believe the intention is to take the £100 fee when booking. This is to prevent profiteers from harvesting multiple slots and selling on for an inflated fee. It will also stop an applicant from booking multiple appointments while they make up their mind which date they prefer. :?

My opinion, though I may be wrong, regarding this new booking fees(Settlement applications) is that it appears is applicable to long residence applicants SET(M) and not the economic immigrants, that is POINTS BASED SYSTEM applicants (PBS applicants) because its states "In UK - Non PBS (new fees highlighted yellow) "

Can the gurus and seniors have a look at this and advise as appropriate.

Thanks

@onabanjo - if you go to the page after (page 5) the one you quote for non-PBS, you will see the same booking fees apply to PBS migrants.

you are absolutely right and hopefully the border agency will take the fee when booking!
