HELP NEEDED - ILR WP ROUTE, ANY COMMENTS APPRECIATED!

Applying ILR soon and have the following enquiries, any comments appreciated and good luck for all applicants
1. If my 5 years WP was granted on
9 April 2008 and valid till
8 April 2013, premium service booked for
12 March, is it fine or one day too early?
2. My salary only satisfied SOC code requirements in the last three months with a pay rise of 5k, would that be acceptable? My previous salary was considerably lower than the SOC code requirements but higher than what was stated on my WP approval letter with an average pay rise of around 3k per year, would it be a problem if I am asked to provide P60 for 5 years?
3. from SET (O) form:
“Document(s) confirming that you have spent a continuous period of 5 years in the UK as a work permit holder throughout that period”
Is it a separate letter from the employer stating the starting date of my employment or just need to mention it in the letter confirming salary, or 5 years P60 would automatically prove this?
The issue is I actually started working for the employer 4 months earlier before the visa issued(I was in holidays as a student but new term started before the visa was issued), could not really say it was on part time basis as the salary was the same if looking at the payslips?
What should be the starting date of employment to be mentioned on the letter? It would take time for the passport to arrive(applied by post), but if the date was several days after the issue of visa, it would be less than 5 complete years by the time I apply for ILR.
5.Planning to get 2 letters from the employer:
1) letter confirming SOC code, job title, salary and continuing employment
2) letter confirming paid annual leave
Is it enough?
6. Worst case senario (touch wood this won't happen), if ILR rejected, I will need another 3 months visa to qualify for 10 years ILR, what are the options available? I was on student visa before switching to WP ( finished my master degree), can I apply for another student visa?
Many thanks for your time and kind help

I will follow the template posted here

Shall I just change the first sentence not to mention date of commencement of employment?

Mate! Post the format of the 2 Employer's letters , some one could help you with the wording. Then you could get the final letter from your Employer.

Thank you
I actually had another problem - continued with my weekend job after being granted work permit, it's not at the same level as my full time job, well worried now in case they check my employment history with HMRC
Have ordered employment history from HMRC, wondering what was on it

Now that could pose some issues.
How many hours were you working? And for how long after you got your WP?

How were you being paid for this employment? Were you paying tax on this? How different was it to your work permit employment?

The weekend job was paid by bank transfer, was paying tax but there was tax owed as HMRC got the wrong tax code. Did call them in 2007 to change the tax code (I swear it was true!) however for some reason they did not change it and now paying back by installments but not fully cleared yet. Shall I pay them off now?
It's totally different kind of job, the weekend one is just a cashier's job I started when I first came here.
Would CW check posts here??? I am afraid too much personal information given

You have to wait and see what comes up in your employment tax history. Have you already asked for one from HMRC? You should clear any taxes etc off anyway.
Don't know CW won't check any posts here.
Also you don't have to dress in a business suit, smart casual will suffice

Ordered employment history from HMRC yesterday, not sure if it would arrive before the appointment. Maybe it's also too late to clear the tax owed now, don't really have the money
Your help much appreciated!

When is your PEO appointment?
You should get it by early next week, HMRC letter. If you receive the letter before applying, then you can formulate your ideas/reasoning accordingly.
If not then you will have to take it as it comes

If the letter arrives early next week it would be before the appointment. HMRC people told me it would take up to 14 working days.
Is there anything I could do if the weekend job is on the history? Could not see any excuses
