Hi
does anyone know the time limit it takes to get an answer from the ukba on biometrics after ones appeal has been allowed. my appeal was allowed on the 27th of feb 2013.
They have not appealled against the decision but will my application be sent to the back of the queue like a new application. I dont think this is fair as I have been waiting for 2 years.

UKBA are sore loosers they will probably give your your papers after 3 months from the date the judge allowed your appeal.
After 3 months if you have not heard from them chase them don't bother phoning the 0870 number phone the team that refused to give your papers.
If there is no progress after following the above steps involve your mp.

no i have had an appeal since nov 2011. a judge allowed my appeal in december 2011 but left holes i the determination that the ukba exploited. i went to jr and we came to an agreement that they would reconsider. They did and refused me again and i had to appeal again in dec 2012. The judge allowed it under immigration and article 8.

According to your post your appeal was allowed in February 2013.If you have been waiting for UKBA to process your papers from 2 years ago you will wait indefinitely if you don't do something about it.
Contact them and why it is taking them years to process your papers.Send them a copy of the judges determination and ask them to implement the appeal asap.
When i was successful in my appeal my lawyer advised me that my papers could take up-to 3 months any period over that is unacceptable.
