Don't call them. They will respond soon. I think some thing must have triggered during your Bio Metrics. That's why they have called for these additional documents from Northern Ireland. Can you put your finger on anything in your past,for PEO to call for these POLICE CHECK documents.

No the police check is a standard request.

I'm struggling to understand, I don't think Police check for ILR application is standard requirement. Are you saying it is fro ALL or specific region in the country?

Why don't you call The UKBA Immigration Enquiry Bureau,Croydon and check the process of your PEO Application. Telephone :- 0870 606 7766
Mon-Fri 9.00am- 4.30 pm.

A guy went to a PEO for his ILR. He was told that his ILR would not be approved that day and he would be contacted next day. He waited for one week without any news from UKBA. He then went to the PEO and asked for seeing the manager there. The receptionist told him that he would be contacted next day. He did not accept and insisted that he want to see the manager, otherwise he would not leave. Eventually he met the manager and the manager asked a caseworker to look at his case immediately and he got his ILR approval letter before he went home.

My point here is that you'd better contact them. They have too much to do and leave your case aside probably.
