PEO APPLICATION

hi
plz help me with these questions. I intend to apply for my indefinate stay this month and have booked a date in croydon but it seems people have had a bad experience. THE PEO Officers ask irrevelant questions they say,is that true?
Secondly i am the main applicant but my husband has a traffic offence where he was charged to be driving a car without insurance. he was unlucky since he had given his car to a friend to sell and he didn't know his friend had sold it. so his insurance company said we can't cover you if you had sold your car. It was miscommunication but the fact remains that his licence was withdrawn and charged a fine since technically he has broken the law. Do you think this will have an effect on our application.
