What evidence has been provided to support the reasons for all absences from the UK?
it asks to submit Letter(s) from employer(s) detailing reasons for work-related absences including periods of paid annual leave from the UK?

My friend has changed jobs within 5 years and all his absences from the UK have been for holidays back home (paid annual leave).
There is no way the previous employer can provide letter saying ex employee was absent 3 years back from xyz date to xyz date and was on paid annual leave.

What evidence is expected. Can a simple letter written by friend saying absence was due to holiday be sufficient.

I am in the same situation and applying for ILR next week. A bit confused about this requirement. Can anybody suggest what sort of evidence is required.
