BRP - Omitted one middle name

Dear Friends,

I am an avid reader of this forum and previously received help regarding my Visa queries.

I received the BRP card for the ILR today. Few questions regarding how my name is appearing on the card

1) My full name is really long and one of my frequently used middle name has been omitted in the BRP. (I assume no space to type in the name)

Will this cause me a problem especially when I travel?

2) Can i request the UKBA to insert the full name as its mentioned ont he passport if possible? Will this take a long time?

3) Is it mandatory to notify them about this omission?

Regards
S

Best inform them and get it changed. I guess it should match with whats on your PP. Bte..does BRP for ILR state Indefinite leave to Remain like it used tp on vignettes previously? Just curious...

I would inform them too, at least you will have a record that they ommited the namem and you have a 10 day window to get changes done free of cost.

Thanks guys for the response.

I think they omitted one part of my full name is that they dont have enough space to print out on the BRP.

Even when i received my BRP 2 years back (Unmarried partner visa) they have omitted 3 letters from one of my names . I did not inform them about this and never had trouble when travelling.

I will just speak with my solicitor and take a decision soon as the omitted name is the one i usually use with my surname.

Thanks

As a precaution to avoid any inconvenience in future it will be better to get it corrected.
