Does my employer's letter have to explain why I was away for work related absences?

My employer's letter only state "work" or "holiday". Is that enough?

if it's work related absence, then your employer letter needs to state "due to business implications you were requested to work out of UK/offshore location and you were part of important assignment/project".

Annual leaves, can be stated simply "Annual Leave"
