No stamping on entry into India

Hello All,
Past few days I have been going through all the queries and comments given by gurus who are helping out with their valuable comments. I have a query hope you good people can help me out.
I will be completing 5 years in July and planning to go for ILR in July.
During 2009, I have lost the job and was no luck with job search, so thought I will take a break for 2 months and left to India. On the travel day when I reached Mumbai, I have recieved message from job consultant that there is an interview on the next day.
So I spoke with the officers at airport and took the same flight back on same day without checking out in Mumbai. So I dont have entry stamp in India. When I returned back to London I have a entry stamp here.
So now there is no proof that when I have left UK as there is only entry stamp on my visa.
I dont have physical ticket which was issued by air line, but i have a electronic copy of the ticket which i used while travelling from UK to India.
How to handle this situation if a CW raise an eye on it?
Any suggestions are greatly welcome
Thanks & regards

Here's my two cents on this and hopefully others will chime in. Keep the copy of your electronic ticket just in case the question comes up. Stupid are required to forward details of all passengers to UKBA before departure of any flight primarily for comparison against watch lists as part of the e-borders system. So if the CW was so compelled, they could look up the flight and see that you were on it.

You have the proof of the Electronic Ticket. To support that you could write a personal Note to explain as to why no Immigration stamp in India. I am sure CW will accept your version of the story.

you can request for SAR(Subject Access Request) report from UKBA. It may have your entry. I am not sure though..

SAR File will have all your Entry into UK.. Because you fill in a landing card, when you come in. It will not have your entry stamp in India or Exit stamps from UK.
