Hi All,

This is regarding the rule change after April 2013 for providing document for absence.

As a Tier 1 (General) migrant, do I need to show any
documentation for absences less than 180 days in any of the
consecutive 12 months periods, preceding the date of application?

I went almost 150 days outside the country due to some business proposal so I don't have any document which I can produce for that.

My ILR is due in oct 2013. Do I need to apply for further extension for ILR.

Your help will be much appreciated.

It's unlikely you'll be asked for a letter. Do you have wage slips to cover the period?

I have not come across any Tier1 G case where caseworker has asked for absences letter when it is under 180 days.

Have they asked you letter of absence for days <180 out of UK leave?
