Hi,

I am planning to apply for ILR in September. Has extended T2 with the current employer who was then registered in Home office as a Tier 2 sponsor. Its a large organisation and they didn't renew the licence.

1. Will that affect my ILR application??
2. If so, if we have to renew the licence is it a cumbersome procedure??

Please forgive me if there was a previous post regarding the same query - but I couldn't find it.

if they have lost their licence, u dont have a visa then as it becomes invalid.
U need to make sure that ur employer applies for licence ASAP.
depending on how long it has been that the licence has expired.. if it has been only few days/weeks, then probabaly it can renewed quicker, otherwise , expect around 2 months..
and without it u can not get ILR since u currently do not have a valid leave.
