Post study VISA for ILR

Hi all,
i searched the forum but couldn't find an answer to this.
I spent 2 years working under post study visa and then switched to Tier 1 general 3 years a go.
To my knowledge, the first 2 years under post study visa is not counted towards your 5 years to be eligible for ILR.
I wanted to ask if anyone knows anything otherwise? Or if anything has changed lately?

PSW is not counted towards the ILR if you want the ILR to be based on 5 years of your stay in the UK.
Unless you are applying under Long Residence (10 Years) then this period of PSW is counted.
Hope it answes your query.
Thanks.
Regards,
REDBULL110.

Bcaz PSW Visa was designed so that one can be switched to the immigration categories like HSMP, Tier-1 General, Tier-1 Entrepuneur
Hence this is just a transit visa leading to an immigration category subject to meeting the requirements of that immigration category.
You are more than welcome to Sue HO if you want to

It makes a lot of sense. HO is not on your side and want to exhaust you in the process of getting ILR. Make it as long and winded as possible. What did you think all the noise around "immigrants" is about? They are hoping you will leave the country, all taxes paid.
