Hi All,
Just wanted to say thanks for all the support/info on this great forum. And thank god, it all went smoothly.
My wife received her BRP this morning. Its taken around 6 weeks, which isn't bad as I expected 3 months at least!
Nottingham council seemed very experienced, so im glad I used them instead the unprofessional Dudley council in my town, we took a hell of a lot of paper work with us, and in the end, when the SCS people actually said we don't need most of it, ie the pay slips weren't included, as we had bank statements showing the wages going in and out, i must admit,I was a little nervous at the time.
We didn't have the joint/seperate letters spaced out over the 2 year period either, there were a few gaps in the middle, but as my wife and I spent much time in the hospital with my brother during that time, I got the doctor to write a letter confirming that.
Time line is as below and hope the rest of you have good luck too!
