Water damaged bank statements

Hi everyone,
My appoinment at PEO is this friday. I have spilled water on original my bank statements. They are dry now and the condition is not too bad. Can still be read easily but a bit smudged, in some bits it has some faint wording from next page. Sorry, can't explain very well...

Anyone have any experience if this is OK? Or should I try to get signed copy from my bank. I bank with Barclays. Will they print for me at the branch and endorse straightaway or is it a lengthy process?

Thanks.

I wouldn't worry if needed they can contact the bank to verify their authenticity.

As a precaution and since you have time, you should try to replace the most damaged pages. A number of Barclays branches do stamp the statement which you can print in their branch kiosk machine. If one branch do not cooperate then try another, try to go less busy/big branch if needs after your local branch.

Thanks. I will go to the bank tomorrow. I hope the one I print from their machine goes back for a few months? the most damaged ones are in the month of august and july.

Printing a mini statement won't suffice, you'd have to ask the branch to print them and sign/stamp each print out.

My ILR application was approved at Croydon PEO last friday 25 Oct 2013. Thank you everyone.

In the end I just submitted my original bank statements (with smudge) and they accepted them.

Other supporting documents includes:
- Original Work Permit
- Original life in the uk test certificate
- 8 months original pay slips
- 7 months original bank statements
- Company support letter
- List of uk absences
- 4 years original P60
- one year P60 copy certified by HR (as I lost the original)
- photocopy of all the above
