Hello Gurus, Moderators, sages,

I see in many threads, where people stating that if we have demonstrated
the english language during entry clearance (EC), we need not provide it again.

I am a Tier 2 - ICT - applicant.

Please can anyone of you, state how do we prove that we have already demonstrated our english language at EC?

if we have been awarded 10 points for english, would it mean that we have demonstrated already?

How do we fill up the application form in this case, as there is no provision for us to indicate this.

Please can any of our helpful members provide concrete information, so that our botheration can restricted only to the dependants and not to main applicants

Email SettlementOpsPolicy@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk and ask, post a reply if/when you get one.

thanks Amber,

I have got this email from one of friend, and have mailed them already.
From their previous experience, the response has come back, but has taken nearly 2 months

Subsequently i called croydon contract centre, and the lady who answered me said, that that we need comparablity certificate from UK NARIC, and a letter from overseas university should be fine.

Not sure, how much we can rely on the responses we receive over phone,
as we cannot furnish them as evidence when we submit the application.

Any clue on when the guidance will be updated and issued?

I'm still awaiting a response, there is a lot of confusion as I do not think that UKNARIC have been properly consulted.
