Hi,

I have an appointment on 23rd November for Tier-1 General ILR.

As per the new form and guidance, we need to submit letter from employer for all work related absences from UK including paid annual holidays.

I do have a letter from my current employer but do not have a letter from my previous employer for the absences when I was working for previous employer. I requested previous employer who replied saying they do not have details in their system for leave older than 3 years.

Should a self certification for such absences will be sufficient?

Also I took some compassionate leave which has been certified by my current employer.

Do I need to attach a separate letter certifying/describing my compassionate leave?

I do not have original death certificate with me to justify the compassionate leave. Will photocopy be sufficient for this purpose?

Regards,

So long as absences are <180 days per 12 month period, evidence should not be requested.
