Hi

I am about to apply my ILR under Tier 1 G.

My question is about section 5.1 where it asks about my accommodation.

My accommodation is owned by my brother who is a British citizen and also who lives overseas.

While he is away me and my dependents are living at the property and I am paying off his mortgage payments every month instead of rent.

What do you suggest how I should answer about questions 5.1 and 5.2?

I don't have a tenancy agreement or such but as he is not living here, he does not want to rent the property to 3rd parties, and he does not want the property to be empty.

5.3-yes
5.4-no
5.5-no

Do i need to provide any documents about this? As far as I know proving rental agreement is not needed.

Any help is appreciated.

Do u have any utiity bills? i recently submitted a successful application at PEO in Solihul under old work permit. i did not provide a tenancy agreement. Although i am renting. Can your brother provide a letter to state how much u pay. That might be helpful.

This is not a problem. I can provide documentation from my brother. Also all utility bills are on my name.

But my question is: Do I really need to as this is not mandatory.

Also how would you answer questions 5.1 and 5.2?
