ILR application at Sheffield or Liverpool

Hi,
I am going to apply for my ILR in january, and have 2 locations which are near by to me - Liverpool and Sheffield.
Wanted to know from members, who already applied at these centers, some feedback on these locations.
As in which is a better location - response times, facilities, experiences, etc...
