ILR new policy on 'knowledge of language and life'

Hi experts,

I noticed there is a recent change applied to the 'knowledge of language and life' requirement.

it says 'having a qualification in English at B1 level or above of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)'.

I had obtained an IELTS qualification before I got the Tier 1 General at Nov 2010. It has a 2 year validity period. So by the time I apply for ILR (Nov 2015), it would have become invalid.

So does it actually means, I have to take another test apart from the 'life in UK' test before Nov 2015?

Any help is much appreciated.

Best Regards
