Tier 1G ILR questions

Hi All,

I have booked an PEO appointment at Croydon at 23rd Dec 2013. However, I still have some questions need clarifying. Here's my case:

First T1 Visa issued: 15th Jan 2009
Date entered UK: 7th Feb 2009
Current Visa Expires: Nov 2014 as I extended twice

Absence:
1 week in 2010 when I worked for my previous employer
1 week in 2011 and 2 weeks in 2013 during my current employment

Also I'm going to start a job on 12th Dec....this week

Q1: Can I apply on 23rd Dec 2013, I use both 28 days and 90 days concession

Q2:I lost contact with my previous employer so can't get a letter for the absence. I have all payslips though, does that work?

In the new SET(O) guide, it says:
From 13th December 2012 applicants in qualifying employment categories for ILR are required to submit documentary evidence of all absences from the UK, as specified in Section 6.3 of the form, and caseworker guidance.

So it is mandatory now??????

Q3:Due to my stupidity, the first name and last name on my Life in the UK certificate was swapped. Would that be fine?

Q4:Do I need to provide anything from my new employer which I will start this week?

Q5:Is there any maintenance evidence I need to provide? I did see that requirement.

Q6:Do I need to provide my UK degree certificate again for language requirement. It was already provided to UKBA as part of previous Tier 1 application and extension.

Q7:My wife has lived with me since the first day in UK and extended her visa twice with me before. For the evidence of my wife's cohabitation, I'm going to provide her bank statement from Jan 2012 as that's the earliest we keep now. As I pay all bills so she don't have any other bill statements. Also we lost 3 bank statements somehow, would that be a issue?

Thanks a lot for all the helps and suggestions.

You can provide a cover letter for this mentioning the leave and also provide the payslips for the months you were out. if not tell them you are not employed during the absence; if that's the case.

As explained above in Q2 . I provided it.

Q3:Due to my stupidity, the first name and last name on my Life in the UK certificate was swapped. Would that be fine?.

Change the names ASAP

Q4:Do I need to provide anything from my new employer which I will start this week?

A letter stating your new employment details with Passport No and National Insurance from the new employer would be good; though not mandatory.

Q5:Is there any maintenance evidence I need to provide? I did see that requirement.

No

Q6:Do I need to provide my UK degree certificate again for language requirement. It was already provided to UKBA as part of previous Tier 1 application and extension.

No

Q7:My wife has lived with me since the first day in UK and extended her visa twice with me before. For the evidence of my wife's cohabitation, I'm going to provide her bank statement from Jan 2012 as that's the earliest we keep now. Depending on the caseworker. The guidelines says we need to provide 3 sources covering 2 years. Explain them in a cover letter on why you can't provide the cohabitation documents. I haven't heard someone's ILR has been refused because of some missing cohabitation documents. Better check with the enquires department of BIA.

Thanks a lot for all the helps and suggestions.
