So if I apply for another DLR and I was given another 3yrs...Do i have to wait until that one finish...which will make me have 8yrs DLR before I can apply for ILR?

@banky97 not jacking your post, but am in a similar situation. and didn't wanna start a new thread.
@Amber can you advise what forms I need to apply for ILR after 6yrs DLR and could you confirm whether this is the next step to take. Mine expires in April 2014. Do I need to take the English and Life in the UK tests before applying.
Thanks

you may apply for ilr upon completion of 6 yrs as dlr. no need to live out the full life of extension (8 yrs).

SET(O) for ILR, LIUK and B1 English required, applying from 28 days before completion of 6 years DLR and before leave expires.
