ILR PEO appointment Dilemma

Hi all,
I have Life in UK test booked for 23-Dec-2013.
I have the ILR PEO appointment on 27-Dec-2013.
The form mentions to have 2 working days between the test and peo appointment. I didn't realize earlier that this would be a problem as only 24th is the working day in between.
I called up the ukba number and the agent said that they recommend that gap due to results of the LiUK test being posted on the ukba systems. So, if the case worker is not able to confirm the result on 27th, then they may shift this to a postal application.
I will be traveling in the Uk from 27th eve to 7th Jan and cannot change my bookings. I am wondering whether to take the chance on 27th or rebook for 10 Jan-14. Any thoughts?
